Can I send SMS without DLT registration?No. As per TRAI rules, every business must complete DLT registration (entity, sender ID/header and message templates) before sending any SMS in India. DLT registration and its fee are separate from SMS packs — the fee is paid directly to the telecom operator. What is the difference between transactional and promotional SMS?Transactional and service messages (alerts, OTP, reminders) reach customers 24x7, including DND numbers. Promotional messages go only to non-DND numbers during permitted hours.
